I,
for one, always got a kick out of local band Stru Tural's name.
Sure it's obscure and hard to pronounce, but what other band had
its name boldly displayed high above Harrison Street. The members
stole it from a sign on a building near their rehearsal space,
which was missing the letter "C" at the time, but has since deteriorated
to the even more esoteric U TU AL. No matter. According to members
of the band, they've decided that they, after years of struggling
to explain the name, will "end their suffering" and change it.
They are heretofore known as
The Signal. Sigh.
